Rinos Stefani was born in 1958 in Cyprus, lives in Tala, Paphos. Holds a BA Degree Fine Arts, Byam Shaw School of Art, London (1978 – 1984). He continued his studies in Berlin and Barcelona (1985 – 1989). First Prize – Graham Hamilton 1983, First Prize – Keeping Glasgow in Stitches – Cyprus 1996, 2nd Prize Ledra Street Monument 1995. Lived and worked in Berlin and Barcelona (1985-89). Exhibitions include Beijing Biennial, Mediterranean Biennial, Charcoal Project in Buffer Zone 2011, Gallerie Inge Baecker, Germany and the Moesgaard Museum, Denmark 2017. He was a member of the Team which prepared the proposal for the European Capital of Culture Pafos 2017. He showed paintings, drawings and installations (sculptures) in London, Barcelona, Cologne, Cairo, Kuwait, Berlin, Athens, Thessaloniki, Sofia, Moscow, Colombia, Beijing, Tunis, Aarhus etc.
